Sheriff Grady Judd to speak
on January 6.  

Join us on January 6 at Lakeland Yacht and Country Club as we welcome Sheriff Grady Judd.  Sheriff Judd began his career at the Polk County Sheriff's Office in 1972 as a dispatcher.  Afer trasferring to the Patrol Division in 1974, he quickly progressed through the ranks -  holding every rank from Sargeant to Colonel.  In 2004, Polk County overwhelmingly elected Grady to serve as Sheriff by 64% majority vote against two opponents.  In November 2008, he was re-elected, with 98% of the vote.  Please call 863-619-7160 to reserve your spot or click on the events calendar below.

Annual Judicial Assistants Recognition
set for April 13

Lakeland Bar Association's fourth luncheon for our JA's will be held at the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club.  The Honorable Bruce Smith will be our guest speaker.

Law Day set for May 4.

Florida Bar President Scott Hawkins will join us on Friday, May 4 at the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club as we celebrate Law Day 2012.

The 2012 Law Day theme, "No Courts, No Justice, No Freedom," underscores the importance of the courts and their role in ensuring access to justice for all Americans.
